Overview

AI-generated overview

FaxFair is a remote MCP server that lets an assistant price and send faxes to US and Canadian numbers, paying per request with a prepaid API key or x402 USDC.

What you can do
  • Quote a fax to a US or Canadian number, returning standard and priority prices in cents and USDC atomic units, without sending or charging
  • Send a PDF from an https URL to a US or Canadian fax number, optionally at the priority price
  • Check one fax by id and read its status: queued, sending, delivered or failed
When to use it
Use it when an assistant needs to deliver a document by fax to a US or Canadian recipient, or to check the price of a fax before committing to send one.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at api.faxfair.com; no account or local install. Sending requires either a prepaid API key passed as an Authorization Bearer header or an x402 USDC payment signature header. The PDF must be reachable at an https URL. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
send_fax spends money: either prepaid credit on the API key or a USDC payment, so confirm the quote first. The API key is a secret sent in the Authorization header. Sending transmits a document to a third-party fax service and to the recipient's fax number, so check the destination and content. Priority pricing costs more and still queues behind website or app faxes.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open FaxFair in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.nico02138-ops%2Ffaxfair/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
