Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant search, browse, compare and find alternatives in a directory of AI agents, MCP servers and skills, and optionally submit listings or reviews.

What you can do
  • Search and read listings by name, tagline or description, and fetch one listing in full by slug
  • Browse by vertical, category, pricing and access model, or list the newest launches
  • See trending listings ranked by heat, upvotes or new reviews
  • Find alternatives to a product by slug, website URL or name, and compare 2-5 listings side by side
  • List submission category ids, submit a product, and leave a 1-5 star review on a listing
When to use it
Useful when someone wants to discover, shortlist or compare AI agents, MCP servers and agent skills, or check what is trending or newly launched. Also handy for finding alternatives to a named product, including ones not in the directory.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; read tools need no account or API key. Submitting a listing or a review requires an OAuth sign-in with a consent screen, so use the remote URL rather than the stdio bridge, which is read-only in practice. A local npx bridge exists for stdio-only clients and forwards to the hosted server.
Before you install
Submitting a listing and posting a review act on behalf of the signed-in user: submissions enter a human review queue, and reviews are published publicly labeled as agent-submitted, with one review per account per listing. Paid listings carry a featured flag, though the server states this does not affect ranking. Directory content is third-party and should be verified before relying on it.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AI Agents Listing in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.nyyhao%2Faiagentslisting/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

AI Agents Listing MCP server

An MCP server for AI Agents Listing, a directory of AI agents, MCP servers and agent skills. Your agent can search the directory, browse it by category, pricing and access model, see what is trending, find alternatives to a product and compare listings side by side.

  • Remote: https://aiagentslisting.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Read tools need no account and no API key.
  • Stdio: npx -y github:nyyhao/aiagentslisting-mcp for clients that only run local servers. It forwards to the hosted server.
  • Auth: only submit_listing and submit_review need a signed-in user, over OAuth with a consent screen. Connect to the remote URL for those; the stdio bridge is read-only in practice.

submit_listing

Submit a listing (sign-in required)

Submit a product to the directory on behalf of the connected user. The listing enters the same pending review queue as a web submission; the returned URL is where the submitter finishes and tracks it. Submitting a URL that already exists updates that listing's submitter details instead of creating a duplicate. Requires an authenticated connection: call this tool to get the sign-in instructions.

Takes no parameters.

submit_review

Review a listing (sign-in required)

Leave a review on a listing on behalf of the connected user: a 1-5 star rating and an optional note on what worked and what did not. One review per account per listing is kept; calling again updates it. Reviews land on the public page labeled as agent-submitted. Requires an authenticated connection: call this tool to get the sign-in instructions.

Takes no parameters.

Score

100% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
