Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server that turns a goal with a deadline into a private, gamified execution calendar the assistant can create, track and revise.

What you can do
  • Browse sprint templates and load goal-specific coaching guides with interview checklists and constraints
  • Validate a draft plan spec before anything is created, returning errors and warnings
  • Create a private hosted calendar and read its progress: execution rate, streaks, missed sessions and risk flags
  • Revise an existing plan while keeping ticks and habit history, and attach or read supporting text documents
  • Create or disable a privacy-safe public progress page showing only completion, streak and countdown
When to use it
Useful when a user has a dated goal — a race, exam, savings target, life event or project — and wants the assistant to interview them, build a day-by-day plan, and later coach progress or replan after setbacks.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no authentication is needed to connect. Creating a calendar returns a private calendar URL and a separate admin token, which are required for status reads, revisions and document access. No packages, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
The admin token returned by create_calendar is a credential for later reads and revisions, so it should be kept private. Calendars are created and plans replaced on a hosted service, and share links publish a read-only progress page. The README asks users not to send credentials, payment-card data, government identifiers or medical records; attached documents are stored with the calendar. The service is a planning tool, not medical, financial or legal advice.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Consistency Calendar in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.olliejgooding%2Fconsistency-calendar/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Consistency Calendar MCP

Turn a goal with a deadline into a private, gamified, evidence-based execution calendar.

Consistency Calendar is a hosted remote MCP server for races, professional certifications, savings goals, life events, and other dated projects. An AI assistant interviews the user, validates a structured plan, creates a private calendar, and can later revise that plan without losing completed-item history.

Connect

Use the endpoint URL directly in any MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers.

Claude Code plugin (server + skill)

This repository is also a Claude Code plugin marketplace. Installing the plugin connects the server and adds the plan-a-goal skill, which tells the agent when to reach for Consistency Calendar and how to run the tools well:

bash
claude plugin marketplace add olliejgooding/consistency-calendar-mcpclaude plugin install consistency-calendar@consistency-calendar

Or connect the server alone:

bash
claude mcp add --transport http consistency-calendar https://consistencycalendar.com/mcp

Agent skill

skills/plan-a-goal/SKILL.md is a standard Agent Skill. It works in any agent that supports skills, alongside the MCP server: it covers when to use the server, the create → validate → share flow, check-ins and revisions, and what is out of scope.

Data and safety

Consistency Calendar is a planning and tracking tool, not medical, financial, legal, or professional coaching advice. Do not send credentials, payment-card information, government identifiers, medical records, or other restricted personal data through the server.

The hosted service and MCP implementation are proprietary and operated by Responsive Data Solutions Limited. This repository contains public connection metadata and documentation only; it does not contain the service source code.

list_templates

Browse sprint templates

Consistency Calendar (consistencycalendar.com) turns a goal with a deadline (race, exam, savings target, life event, project) into a private, gamified, evidence-based execution calendar the user ticks off daily. Call this first to see the available sprint templates. It is a general planning tool, not a medical, financial, or treatment service.

Takes no parameters.

get_template_guide

Get a coaching guide

Get the coaching guide for one sprint template: the interview checklist (what to ask the user), evidence-based constraints the plan must respect, a SprintSpec skeleton to adapt, and hard decline criteria. Pass the user's goal in `goal` to also receive a goal-specific playbook (marathon, HYROX, Ironman, weight loss, exam season, certifications, language exams…).

Parametersgoaltemplate_idrequired

validate_spec

Check a plan is valid

Validate a draft SprintSpec without creating anything. Returns machine-readable errors (fix and retry) and warnings (evidence-based advice — take them seriously).

Parametersspecrequired

create_calendar

Create a sprint calendar

Create a hosted Consistency Calendar from a validated SprintSpec. Returns the user's private calendar URL and an admin token for later revisions. Free; each calendar includes 2 free AI revisions.

Parametersspecrequired

get_status

Get sprint progress

Read structured progress for a sprint calendar (execution %, streaks, missed sessions, metric vs guide, at-risk flags) so you can coach the user. Requires the calendar_id and admin_token from create_calendar.

Parameterstodayadmin_tokenrequiredcalendar_idrequired

revise_calendar

Revise a sprint plan

Replace a calendar's plan with a revised SprintSpec (life happened: injury, moved exam, new constraints). The user's ticks, moves and habit history survive; only the template layer changes. First 2 revisions per calendar are free.

Parametersspecrequiredreasonadmin_tokenrequiredcalendar_idrequired

attach_document

Attach a document

Attach a supporting text document to a calendar — a syllabus/curriculum, exam spec, training history, race info. Stored with the calendar so any future session can read it when revising the plan. Text only (paste text out of PDFs), max 5 docs × 200KB.

Parametersnamerequiredcontentrequiredadmin_tokenrequiredcalendar_idrequired

read_document

Read an attached document

Read a document previously attached to a calendar (ids are listed in get_status under `documents`). Use when revising a plan so the new plan respects the syllabus/history the user provided.
