SalesBlink Cold Email

io.github.open-salesblinkPublished by GitHub account open-salesblinkv1.2.0Updated Oct 24, 2026

Cold email sequences, leads, templates, senders, inbox, and analytics via the SalesBlink API.

Overview

AI-generated overview

SalesBlink cold email MCP server that lets an assistant build contact lists, templates and email sequences, manage inbox replies, and read outreach analytics.

What you can do
Create and manage contact lists, add, move, update, archive and remove leads, and read list fields and leads with filters. Create, update and archive email templates, and list senders and folders. Build and update email sequences, read sequence details and stats, and archive or unarchive them. Read inbox threads and messages, send replies, forward messages and update mail state. Review sent, open, click and reply activity, and manage account users, workspaces and login links.
When to use it
Useful when you run SalesBlink outreach and want an assistant to draft and assemble campaigns, import consented contacts, handle inbox replies, or pull open, click and reply metrics without switching to the web app.
Requirements
A SalesBlink account and API key, supplied as the SALESBLINK_API_KEY environment variable (the API sends it in the Authorization header without a Bearer prefix). Connect to the remote endpoint or run the local Node.js bundle; network access to run.salesblink.io is required.
Before you install
The API key grants access to the whole SalesBlink account, so treat it as a secret. Tools create and change lists, contacts, templates, sequences and users, and can send replies and forwards. Launching a sequence starts real email sending; the server notes that starting sends should only follow explicit user confirmation. Contacts must come from the account holder's own consented sources, not addresses assembled by the model. Attachments are not supported on this connector.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open SalesBlink Cold Email in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.open-salesblink%2Fcold-email-salesblink/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

The bundle runs a local Node.js MCP server with hardened gateway tools plus the full bundled API reference. Source lives in mcpb/cold-email-salesblink/. To build it yourself instead of downloading:

bash
cd mcpb/cold-email-salesblinknpm install --omit=devnpm test # protocol smoke test (no API key needed)npx @anthropic-ai/mcpb pack . # produces cold-email-salesblink.mcpb

See mcpb/cold-email-salesblink/README.md for tools, configuration, and security details.

Note: All platforms above require the same SALESBLINK_API_KEY environment variable shown in Step 3.

API Quick Reference

Base URL

https://run.salesblink.io/api/public/v1.0.0

Authentication Pass your API key in the Authorization header with no "Bearer" prefix:

Authorization: key-****

Pagination

  • Most list endpoints: limit (max 100) and skip
  • Activity endpoints (/sent, /opens, /clicks, /replies): per_page (max 100) and page (1-indexed)

Always paginate — never assume a single request returns all data.

Error Handling

StatusMeaningAction
200SuccessCheck success field
400Bad requestRe-check payload structure against the reference file
401UnauthorizedVerify API key
403ForbiddenInsufficient permissions (role too low)
404Not foundVerify the ID / endpoint
409ConflictResource already exists or connection failed
429Rate limitedWait 60s, then retry
500Server errorRetry once after 10s

Quick Start: End-to-End Campaign

See skills/cold-email-salesblink/references/workflows.md for full examples. High-level flow:

  1. Create a list → POST /lists
  2. Add contacts → POST /contacts (batch up to 500, snake_case fields)
  3. Create templates → POST /templates (merge vars like {{first_name}})
  4. Fetch senders → GET /senders
  5. Create sequence → POST /sequences (steps: email → delay → email …)
  6. Launch → PATCH /sequences/:id with paused: false & launchTimingMode: "now"

Evaluations

The evals/evals.json file contains test scenarios covering list creation, bulk contact import, sequence creation, large CSV ingestion, inbox replies with CC, and paginated activity tracking.

Compatibility

  • Requires network access to run.salesblink.io
  • Supports any HTTP client (curl, Node.js fetch, Python requests, PowerShell, etc.)

Get All Lists - Retrieve all contact lists with optional filtering. Note: boolean filters (starred/archived) are unreliable. Supported filters: folder, search, sortBy, sortType, integration. Each list includes a `fields` array — the list's columns in snake_case (e.g. first_name, email, lead_score).

Create List

Create a List - Create a new contact list. Contacts added to lists must originate from an evidenced import or consent source that the account holder already has (e.g. their own opt-in list, CRM export, or inbound leads) — not addresses assembled by the model. Create Sequence

Create a Sequence - Create a new email sequence/campaign. Recipients must be the account holder's own contactable audience (e.g. their own opt-in or otherwise consented contacts) — never addresses assembled by the model — and suppression/blocklist is always enforced. Parametersskiptypelimitsearchworkspace_id

add_contacts

Add Contacts

Add Contacts to a List - Add multiple contacts to an existing list. Contacts must come from an evidenced import or consent source that the account holder already has (e.g. their own opt-in list, CRM export, or inbound leads) — do not assemble addresses from model knowledge or web scraping. All contact field names use snake_case (e.g. first_name, last_name, email, phone, company_name, job_title, lead_score). Custom snake_case fields are added to the list's columns. The `starred` boolean is a contact setting and is not added as a list column. Contact archiving is handled by archive_contact.
