Stock analysis MCP: 38 indicators, 7 optimizers, 8 backtests, US + India sectors.
The publisher's own server: BrainDog
Overview
Stock analysis MCP server for quotes, indicators, portfolio optimization, backtests and multi-agent NSE research reports.
- What you can do
- Run quotes, news, trade sizing, watchlist scans and persistent price alerts
- Compute 38 technical indicators through six grouped tools
- Optimize portfolios with seven methods and evaluate them on holdout data
- Run rule-based backtests and generate chart packs as rendered images
- Get company profiles, sector rankings and sector-to-stock pipelines
- Start, poll, cancel and retrieve multi-agent research jobs with evidence and audit traces
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to do quantitative market analysis, compare symbols, size hypothetical trades, or produce an audited research report on Indian equities with cited evidence and stated limitations.
- Requirements
- Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; the hosted deployment requires an operator-issued bearer token. Running the research runtime locally needs Python 3.12 with the project's requirements files, Codex sign-in for the research roles, and a separate MCP bearer token for the client. Claude Desktop/web remote connectors need a reachable HTTPS endpoint, not localhost.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Quant Brain Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.paarths-collab%2Fquant-brain-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

70% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
