io.github.pathcourse-healthPublished by GitHub account pathcourse-healthv1.0.1Updated Oct 25, 2026
Cheaper LLM inference, USDC agent payments via x402, agent identity / reputation lookup.
Overview
Local MCP server for PathCourse Health that lets an assistant compare and run cheaper LLM inference, pay with USDC, and look up agent identity and reputation.
- What you can do
- List PCH models with rates and tier requirements, and estimate or compare inference costs against other models before running a request (free tools). Check gateway health and service status. Look up agent identity records, Path Score, score history and certifications, and run deeper reputation queries. Run LLM inference on a PCH model and check USDC balance, tier and account activity with an API key. Get USDC payment instructions and submit payment proof to obtain an API key.
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to compare inference pricing, run inference through PCH, or check an agent's identity and reputation. Also relevant if you want to obtain a PCH API key by paying in USDC from inside the chat client.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local stdio process, installed via npm (@pathcourse/mcp-server) or PyPI (pch-mcp-server, e.g. uvx). Desktop MCP clients such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Continue.dev or Zed. The PCH_API_KEY environment variable is needed only for authenticated tools; many tools work without it. PCH_GATEWAY_URL optionally overrides the default production gateway. Network access to the PCH gateway.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open PathCourse Health (PCH) in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
README
PCH MCP Server
Drop-in MCP server for PathCourse Health (PCH) — cheaper LLM inference, USDC-based agent payments, and agent identity / reputation lookup. Works in Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Continue.dev, and Zed.
14 tools. 7 free (no API key needed) and 7 authenticated. Includes a unique flow that lets you buy a PCH API key from inside Claude Desktop using USDC — no signup form, no email verification.
Install
Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Continue.dev, Zed (npm)
Add to your client's MCP config:
If you don't have a PCH API key yet, omit the env block. Many tools work without authentication; you can obtain a key via the pch_provision tool.
Per-client install instructions:

Configuration
Security
Never commit PCH_API_KEY to a public repo. The wrapper logs a warning at startup if it detects a key that looks like a real production key being passed through env. If you accidentally exposed your key, rotate it via PCH support.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
