Overview

AI-generated overview

A remote MCP server that lets an assistant look up published apostille authorities by place, category and text, with source attribution.

What you can do
  • Search and read apostille authority listings by text, place and category, or fetch a single record by slug
  • Browse the countries, regions and cities that have apostille authorities
  • List categories with their authority counts
  • Check dataset statistics such as record, place and category totals and when data last changed
  • List data sources with their license and refresh information
When to use it
Useful when someone needs to find the government office that issues an apostille for a document, or wants to browse which places and categories of authorities are covered. Also handy for checking where the directory data comes from before relying on it.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. Network access to the endpoint is required.
Before you install
A listed authority is a record, not an endorsement, so results should be verified with official sources. Results carry attribution and source licenses that should be shown and kept. The server notes that write tools appear when a service token is supplied in the Authorization header, so a token grants data-changing access.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Apostilles in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.pooriaarab%2Fapostilles/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
