Search, discover, and install 500+ AI agent skills from the SkillFlow marketplace.
Overview
Lets an assistant search, browse, and inspect skills listed on the SkillFlow AI skills marketplace, including categories, trends, and platform statistics.
- What you can do
- Connects an AI coding agent to the SkillFlow marketplace through five read-only tools: search_skills for keyword, category, or tag lookups; get_skill_details for a single skill's pricing and performance; list_categories; get_trending_skills; and get_platform_stats for overall counts such as skills, runs, creators, and revenue. It fetches live data from the SkillFlow backend with a five-minute cache rather than shipping hardcoded lists. The README also describes an optional Streamable HTTP mode for remote or self-hosted use.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs to find, compare, or evaluate third-party agent skills before installing or recommending one, for example searching for SEO, content, or lead-generation skills. It is a discovery and lookup tool, not a skill runner.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio, typically via npx skillflow-mcp-server or a global npm install, so Node.js and network access to the SkillFlow backend are needed. The README states no API keys or environment variables are required. An optional HTTP mode can be self-hosted or run in Docker.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Skillflow in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

SkillFlow MCP Server
[npm version] [npm downloads] [MCP Registry] [License: MIT] [Available on SkillFlow]
Connect AI coding agents to the SkillFlow AI skills marketplace. Live data. Zero config. One command.
A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects AI coding agents to the SkillFlow marketplace — a curated AI skills marketplace with trust metrics and performance data.
Why SkillFlow?
AI agents are the new users. Instead of browsing a website, agents can now programmatically search, discover, and evaluate skills from SkillFlow using the MCP protocol.

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
