Manage sequences, contacts, and outreach statistics on Reply.io's sales engagement platform.
Overview
Remote MCP server for Reply.io that lets an assistant read and act on sales engagement data: contacts, sequences, inbox, tasks, analytics and AI SDR.
- What you can do
- Search, filter, create and update contacts, lists, owners and blacklists, and review contact activity history. Find sequences, inspect steps and A/B variants, enroll contacts, start or pause sequences, and attach mailboxes, LinkedIn accounts and schedules. Read sequence performance and compare sequences over date ranges. List inbox threads, send replies and set thread categories. List, create and complete tasks, and resolve team members and workspace email or LinkedIn accounts. Manage AI SDR offers, playbooks, knowledge bases, reply handlers and re-engagement cards, and approve, reject or regenerate pending drafts. Diagnose why a sequence is not sending and search the Reply.io help center.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant should work inside a Reply.io sales engagement workspace without direct API calls, for example to review sequence performance, enroll or reassign contacts, triage the inbox, or approve AI SDR drafts. It suits MCP-capable clients such as desktop apps and hosted assistants that have no shell; the README notes a CLI covers the same surface for shell-capable agents.
- Requirements
- A remote endpoint at mcp.reply.io; nothing to install locally. A Reply.io account (free for all Reply.io users). Authentication by OAuth or a scoped personal API key, sent as an Authorization bearer token or the X-API-Key header; keys are created under Settings, API Key in the Reply.io dashboard. Credentials in the URL are not supported. Team and Organization act-on-behalf keys are not supported.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Reply.io in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.reply-io%2Freply-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Reply.io MCP Server
Connect Reply.io to your AI client and let it work across your team and workspace.
reply.io · Documentation
Overview
A remote MCP server at mcp.reply.io that lets MCP-compatible AI clients — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, and more — work with your Reply.io CRM and AI SDR. One connection gives an agent a catalog of tools spanning contacts, sequences, inbox, tasks, analytics, and the AI SDR ("Jason"), so it can read and act on Reply data without making direct HTTP requests. The tools run the same logic as the Reply.io API and the in-app AI assistant.
No local installation required. Free for all Reply.io users.

Where this fits
Reply's agentic toolkit is three pieces. They are complementary, not alternatives:
MCP gives your agent tools. Skills give it judgement. Most setups want both; a shell-capable agent can do everything through the CLI alone.
The shortest path that works: install the CLI, reply auth login, reply skills install, then
talk to your agent in plain words. MCP is optional — add it when your client has no shell.
Connect
Reply MCP is a remote server at https://mcp.reply.io. Authenticate with a scoped personal API key (recommended) or OAuth, then add it to your client.
Claude Code
Desktop apps (Claude, ChatGPT)
Add Reply MCP as a remote / custom connector using the URL https://mcp.reply.io and authorize with OAuth.
Create and scope a key under Settings → API Key in your Reply.io dashboard.
Note: Passing credentials in the URL (for example
?api_key=...) is not supported. Always authenticate with theAuthorizationheader or OAuth.

mcp-remoteproxy, OAuth): docs.reply.io/reply-mcp#connect - Authentication & keys: docs.reply.io/reply-mcp#authentication
Authentication & scopes
Reply MCP authenticates as a single Reply.io user, via one of two methods:
- Personal API key (recommended) — passed as
Authorization: Bearer <token>. A personal key is scoped: you grant it only the permissions your agent needs, and it can call only the tools those permissions cover. - OAuth — authorize directly from the client, no key to copy. OAuth grants the full tool catalog (all scopes).
Each tool requires a single scope such as contacts:read or sequences:operate; a key can call a tool only if it holds that scope. Act-on-behalf keys (Team and Organization keys) are not supported on this single-user connection.
See the full scope list at docs.reply.io/api-reference/authentication#scopes.
Tools
71 tools across your CRM and AI SDR. ⚠️ marks destructive tools (create / update / delete / send / assign) — these require the matching :write or :operate scope and carry a destructiveHint so conforming clients can prompt for confirmation. Call arguments (the JSON input schema) are advertised live via tools/list; the tables below describe what each tool is for.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
