Google Ads Transparency (via Apify)
io.github.retracnv1.0.0Updated Oct 5, 2026
Competitors' Google ads for AI agents: every ad a brand runs, with dates and ad text.
Overview
Lets an assistant pull competitors' Google ads — text, format, dates and images — via Apify's hosted Google Ads Transparency scraper.
- What it does
- Wraps an Apify Actor that queries Google's Ads Transparency Center and returns one row per ad: advertiser, ad ID, format, first and last shown dates, days running, headline and ad text, images, landing page, YouTube video, preview and link. Advertisers can be looked up by name, domain or ID, filtered by 50+ countries and by format. Results cover Search, YouTube, Display and Shopping placements.
- When to use it
- Useful for competitive ad research: seeing which creatives a brand or domain is running, how long campaigns have been live, and how messaging differs by country or format. Worth adding when an assistant needs ad-copy or campaign-timing data rather than general web search.
- Requirements
- Remote MCP endpoint at mcp.apify.com, or a local run via npx with the Apify actors MCP server. Requires an Apify API token sent as an Authorization header (Bearer token); a free Apify account is enough to obtain one. Usage is billed per ad returned.
Installation

- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
