Overview

AI-generated overview

Local MCP server for PixelVault, an AI-native marketplace of pre-cleared licensed media assets, letting assistants search, inspect and draft licensing…

What you can do
  • Search a database of pre-cleared AI-generated assets from a natural-language brief and get a ranked shortlist with compliance status and rationale
  • Retrieve full metadata and compliance documentation for a specific asset by ID
  • Generate a draft usage agreement from project parameters such as usage type, territory, duration and platform
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to find commercially usable AI-generated media and check its licensing status, or to prepare a usage agreement draft inside the same workflow instead of switching to a separate marketplace site.
Requirements
Runs as a local process via npx from the npm package pixelvault-mcp, so Node.js and network access are needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
The server can generate usage agreement drafts, which are documents that should be reviewed before being relied on. Asset search and details are sent to the PixelVault service; confirm licensing terms and compliance claims with the provider before commercial use.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Pixelvault in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Other MCP clients

Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

Score

40% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
