Spending controls for AI agents: per-agent budgets, vendor allowlists, full audit trail.
The publisher's own server: AgentPay — Pay-per-call AI Microservices
Overview
AgentPay MCP server that gives AI agents spending controls: per-agent budgets, vendor allowlists and a full audit trail, backed by an AgentPay wallet.
- What you can do
- Connects an assistant to an AgentPay wallet so its spending can be governed.
- Applies per-agent budgets and vendor allowlists to what the agent may pay for.
- Keeps a full audit trail of agent spending activity.
- No tools are listed in the manifest, so the exact operations are not documented here.
- When to use it
- Worth considering when you want an AI agent to make payments or purchases but need limits on how much each agent can spend and which vendors it may use, plus a record of what it did.
- Requirements
- Runs locally as an npm package over stdio, so Node.js is needed. Requires an AgentPay wallet API key in AGENTPAY_API_KEY (test keys start with ap_test_, live keys with ap_live_), generated from the AgentPay dashboard. AGENTPAY_BASE_URL can override the default endpoint for self-hosted or local development. Desktop only.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Agentpay in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Score
25% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
- Tools listed15 pts
Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
