Requirements
Runs locally over stdio via uvx, so uv with Python 3.10+ is needed. No account or API key. Optional RRK_MCP_PROXY environment variable sets an HTTP proxy for rrk.ir requests, since system proxy settings are ignored. Network access to rrk.ir is required.
Before you install
All tools are read-only and need no confirmation. The portal is slow (full-text searches can take about 10 seconds) and some lookups by code page through the list for 10-60 seconds. Gazette PDFs, Majlis debate texts and company notices sit behind login or payment and are not available. Output is Persian JSON with Jalali dates.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Official Gazette of Iran in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Limits

  • Laws only. Company notices (آگهی‌های ثبتی) sit behind rrk.ir's paid data service and login, so they are left out.
  • The portal is slow (a full-text search can take 10 seconds) and shares one session; the server keeps one session and reuses it.
  • rk_law_text works with any code, but a code the session has not listed is located by paging the list (10-60 s, and codes below about 10,000 may not be found). Majlis debates (group 64) have a title only; the debate text is a PDF behind login.
  • Gazette PDFs and the shop need login or payment, and are left out.
  • Persian ی and ک are converted to the Arabic ي and ك the portal stores; you can type either.
