ESG Hub MCP Server
io.github.simonmak-ascentv1.4.1Updated Oct 2, 2026
ESG knowledge base for AI agents: hybrid search, glossary, frameworks, industries, graph traversal.
Overview
Lets an assistant search and read an open-access ESG encyclopedia covering standards, regulations, frameworks, industries and glossary terms.
- What it does
- Connects an AI agent to the ESG Hub knowledge base of 350+ articles and 240+ curated resources. It exposes tools for hybrid search (keyword plus vector), glossary lookup, framework and industry browsing, and graph traversal between related ESG topics. Content covers standards such as GRI, IFRS S1/S2, TCFD, TNFD and ESRS, plus regional Hong Kong and APAC guidance.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs grounded ESG reference material: sustainability reporting questions, standards and framework comparisons, or explaining ESG terminology and industry context. It is a read-oriented reference source rather than a tool for producing or filing reports.
- Requirements
- Runs locally as an npm package over stdio, so Node.js is needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. The underlying public site and REST API are described as freely accessible without running anything.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open ESG Hub MCP Server in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
