Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant search and read an open-access ESG encyclopedia covering standards, regulations, frameworks, ratings, and regional guidance.

What it does
Connects an assistant to the ESG Hub knowledge base, an open-access encyclopedia of environmental, social, and governance material. It exposes tools to search and read that content, including hybrid keyword and vector search, a glossary, framework and industry entries, and graph traversal between related topics. Content is available in English, Chinese, and Hindi.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs grounded ESG reference material: sustainability reporting standards, disclosure frameworks, ratings, or regional guidance. Worth adding if you want answers cited from a curated ESG corpus rather than general web results.
Requirements
Runs either as a remote streamable HTTP endpoint or as a local npm package over stdio, so a local install needs Node.js. The public site and REST API are described as open access with no authentication, and no environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
The README states the full self-hosted copy needs your own SurrealDB instance and content, and that the quick-start build depends on a private sibling repository. Search answers are described as drawing on third-party services and external sources, so treat returned content as reference material rather than authoritative advice.
