Requirements
Runs as a local stdio process started with npx from the npm package @swmansion/argent, so Node.js is needed. Desktop only; setup is done with the init command. The target simulators, emulators, devices, TVs or Electron/Chromium apps must be available locally. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
The server can control and interact with running apps, including typing and hardware buttons, and can build and launch React Native apps, so actions affect real devices and emulators. Telemetry is enabled by default and must be turned off explicitly with the telemetry disable command. No credentials are declared, but the tooling has broad access to local app processes and debug data.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Argent in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
