Check name availability across domains, trademarks, and social handles. Score and rank candidates.
The publisher's own server: SalesMap
Overview
Namera is a local MCP server that lets an assistant check a name's domain, trademark and social handle availability and rank naming candidates.
- What you can do
- Check a single name across domain availability, USPTO trademark screening and social handles (GitHub, Twitter/X, Instagram). Evaluate several candidates with business context, score and rank them using weighted profiles such as fintech, SaaS, consumer or developer tools. Screen trademarks with exact and fuzzy matching against a large USPTO dataset. Generate name permutations from prefixes, suffixes and TLD presets, and look up WHOIS and optional domain pricing.
- When to use it
- Useful when choosing a product, startup or brand name and you want an assistant to verify domain, trademark and handle availability and rank the shortlist rather than checking each option by hand.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process on the user's machine (desktop only), installed from PyPI with the MCP extra and started via the namera-mcp command. No accounts, API keys or environment variables are declared. Network access is needed for DNS, RDAP, WHOIS, trademark and social handle lookups.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Namera in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
