Before you install
The server requires the secret SOODA_API_KEY, which authorizes actions on the user's Sooda account. Tools can send messages to external agents, create and accept or reject connection requests, and read the inbox and conversation history, so messages and account data leave the machine for the Sooda platform. The one-line install script and the setup command create an account and modify the Claude Desktop configuration automatically.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Sooda MCP in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Install

1-line install (macOS/Linux):

sooda-mcp setup creates a free account and configures Claude Desktop automatically.
