App Store and Google Play intelligence: apps, charts, keyword ranks, versions, ads, creatives.
Overview
Hosted MCP server giving assistants App Store and Google Play intelligence: app search, chart ranks, versions, ads, creatives and keyword tracking.
- What you can do
- Search and browse the app catalog, publishers and storefronts
- Read app details, market pricing, version history, in-app events and publisher transfers
- Check top charts, chart rank moves, rating history and download/revenue estimates
- Inspect icon and screenshot redesigns with their rank effect, and the app's ads
- Read Google Play top charts and single Play app data (beta)
- Manage an ASO keyword tracker: list and add tracked apps and keywords, read ranks and history, check plan usage
- When to use it
- Useful for ASO and app-market research: comparing apps across stores, tracking chart and keyword positions, reviewing release notes or creative redesigns, and checking competitor ads without leaving the assistant.
- Requirements
- Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. Authentication is required: OAuth sign-in for clients that support it, or an Authorization Bearer key created in the AppTrack Ninja account. Free plan allows one key, 25 calls a day, 10 a minute and 10 results per list; Pro raises limits and unlocks estimates, ads and full result pages.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open AppTrack Ninja in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.sulubeyn%2Fapptrack-ninja-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

AppTrack Ninja MCP server
App Store and Google Play intelligence for AI assistants. Search and inspect any iOS app, read chart rankings, version history, in-app events, ads and publisher portfolios, see which icon and screenshot redesigns moved ranks, and manage your AppTrack Ninja keyword tracker from Claude, Cursor or any MCP client.
Full guide with every tool: apptrack.ninja/tools/mcp
This is a hosted remote server: there is nothing to install or run. This repository documents how to connect to it.
Get a key
Clients with OAuth (Claude, Claude Code, VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, Gemini CLI) open the AppTrack Ninja sign-in on first use; no key needed. For other clients:
- Sign in at apptrack.ninja (free plan works; Pro lifts the limits).
- Open Account → MCP / IDE (direct link).
- Create a key. It is shown once; keys start with
ninja_.
Connect
Ask your AI agent
Agents that can edit their own configuration (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf) can add the server themselves. Paste this and replace the key:
Claude Code
With a key instead of sign-in:
Cursor
~/.cursor/mcp.json, or .cursor/mcp.json in a project:
VS Code (GitHub Copilot)
.vscode/mcp.json in your workspace:
Other clients
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with custom headers:
- URL:
https://mcp.apptrack.ninja - Transport: Streamable HTTP
- Header:
Authorization: Bearer ninja_your_key. Gateways that reserveAuthorizationcan send the key inX-Api-Keyinstead.
Claude Desktop and claude.ai custom connectors: add https://mcp.apptrack.ninja as a custom
connector and sign in with AppTrack Ninja when asked (OAuth).
Tools
Every tool except the two tracker writes only reads AppTrack Ninja's stored data; nothing removes or overwrites anything.
On the free plan list tools return up to 10 rows and, once the 25 daily calls are used, answer with an upgrade note until the next UTC day.
Example prompts
- "What are the top grossing games in Japan right now?"
- "Show me the apps published by Duolingo and their ratings."
- "Which icon and screenshot redesigns lifted chart ranks in the US this month?"
- "Show the release notes of Notion's last five versions."
- "Compare Block Blast! on the App Store and Google Play."
- "Track the keywords 'pdf scanner' and 'scan to pdf' for my app 6736992829, then show their current ranks."

85% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
