Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote Superlist connector that lets an AI assistant read and manage your tasks, lists, labels and views in plain language.

What you can do
  • Create, read, update, complete, delete, move and assign or unassign tasks
  • Add and remove labels on tasks
  • Create, read, update, delete, share and unshare lists
  • Show today's due tasks and inbox tasks
  • Search tasks and lists and fetch full content by id
  • Report the authenticated Superlist user's identity
When to use it
Useful if you already keep tasks and lists in Superlist and want an assistant to add, reorganize, complete or summarize them from the chat instead of switching apps.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at app.superlist.com; no local package or environment variables. Requires a Superlist account and OAuth 2.0 sign-in, with the requested permissions approved in the AI tool's connector settings.
Before you install
The assistant can change your data: tasks and lists can be created, updated, completed, moved, deleted, shared and unshared, so review actions before approving. Access is granted through OAuth to your whole Superlist account; revoke it by removing the connector in your AI tool.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Superlist in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.superlistapp%2Fsuperlist/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Superlist MCP Server

The task layer for your AI agents. Connect Superlist to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible AI assistant and manage your tasks, lists, due dates, and routines in plain language — without leaving the chat.

Server URL: https://app.superlist.com/mcp Transport: Remote (Streamable HTTP) Authentication: OAuth 2.0 — sign in with your Superlist account Homepage: https://www.superlist.com/mcp Setup guide: https://help.superlist.com/en/articles/658028-superlist-mcp-server

What it does

The Superlist MCP server is a secure bridge between your Superlist account and any AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, your assistant can read and update your lists and tasks using everyday language — no copy-pasting, no switching tabs.

Things you can ask your assistant once it's connected:

"What's on my plate today?" "Add 'Pick up dry cleaning' to my Errands list." "Move all unfinished tasks from yesterday to today." "Draft a project plan in Superlist based on this meeting transcript." "Summarize what I got done this week."

Available tools

Tasks: add_task, get_task, update_task, complete_task, delete_task, move_task, assign_task, unassign_task

Labels: add_label, remove_label

Lists: add_list, get_list, get_lists, update_list, delete_list, share_list, unshare_list

Views: today (tasks due today or earlier assigned to you), inbox (tasks from your inbox)

Search & retrieval: search (search your tasks and lists), fetch (get full content of a task or list by id)

Identity: whoami (info about the authenticated Superlist user)

Connecting to Claude

Open Claude and go to Settings → Connectors → Add Connector. Paste in the Superlist MCP URL: https://app.superlist.com/mcp Click Connect and sign in with your Superlist account when prompted. Approve the requested permissions.

Any AI tool that supports custom MCP connectors will work — look for a "Connectors," "Integrations," or "MCP server" option in its settings. See the setup guide for ChatGPT and other tools.

Security

The connection uses standard OAuth. You sign in directly to Superlist — the AI tool never sees your password, it only accesses data your account already has access to, and you can revoke access at any time by removing the connector in your AI tool.

This server asks you to sign in, so SourceWeft could not read its tools without an account and has not indexed them. What a connected account sees can depend on that account and its permissions.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
