Overview

AI-generated overview

Search a reviewed directory of free tools, submit a product for human review, run website launch checks, and list launch directories.

What it does
PostLaunchKit is a hosted MCP server for a human-reviewed directory of free tools and projects, including AI agent tooling. Tools include search_projects to search published entries by query, category, tag, or page; get_project to fetch one entry by slug; list_categories for categories with entry counts; submit_project to suggest a product into a pending queue; run_launch_check to run a free launch check on a public website and return pass or fail results with fixes and a report link; and list_launch_directories to list submission sites from an open dataset.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to find free tools or agent tooling, look up a specific directory entry, check a public website before launch, or gather places to submit an indie product. It is a discovery and pre-launch helper rather than a general-purpose service.
Requirements
Nothing to install: it is a remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at stateless, with no authentication, no API keys, and no environment variables. Network access is required. Submissions and launch checks are rate limited per IP per day.
Before you install
submit_project writes data: the suggestion goes to a pending queue and is reviewed by a person, and nothing is published automatically; submissions are limited per IP and per day and duplicate domains are rejected. run_launch_check is limited to 20 checks per IP per day and only checks public sites. The service is free and asks for no credentials.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open PostLaunchKit in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config.
