Framegrove: App Store screenshot generator
io.github.tech-bamv1.0.0Updated Oct 6, 2026
Render App Store, Google Play and iPhone Duo screenshots and Apple Creative Assets from templates.
Overview
Renders exact-size App Store, Google Play and iPhone Duo screenshots and Apple Creative Assets from curated templates.
- What it does
- Framegrove turns your own app screenshots and captions into store-ready images. Tools include list_templates and list_outputs for browsing 56 curated templates and exact output dimensions, render_screenshots for producing PNGs per language, build_project for writing an editable .sms.json project file, and inspect_assets for checking exported dimensions and PNG alpha against a preset. It renders only what you supply; it does not capture simulator screenshots or upload to App Store Connect.
- When to use it
- Use it when preparing App Store, Google Play or iPhone Duo listing images and Apple Creative Assets from existing screenshots, especially when you want repeatable, correctly sized output across several languages or device sizes.
- Requirements
- Local process run with npx, requiring Node.js 20+. Template fonts download once on first render to a cache folder; FRAMEGROVE_FONTS can point elsewhere and FRAMEGROVE_OFFLINE=1 skips the download. No account or API key is declared.
Installation
