Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote read-only MCP server exposing your what2post LinkedIn posts, profile stats, follower growth and goals to an AI assistant.

What you can do
List your synced LinkedIn posts, newest first, and read engagement stats with recent posts for a profile (subscription required). Retrieve follower-growth statistics over a chosen time window and your growth goals with progress. All tools are read-only and scoped to your own account.
When to use it
Use it when you want an assistant to review your LinkedIn performance, summarize follower growth, or check progress against your growth goals without exporting data by hand.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. A what2post account and an API token from Settings, sent as an Authorization Bearer header. The token expires after 30 days. Network access to the hosted endpoint is required.
Before you install
The API token is a credential sent in the Authorization header; keep it private and renew it after the 30-day expiry. Post listing and profile stats require a paid subscription. Your LinkedIn data is read from what2post's hosted service, so it is shared with that third party.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open what2post in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.theDestI%2Fwhat2post/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
