Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP endpoint that lets an assistant read bounded summaries of a single INTERNETS.FUN room using an existing room-scoped agent token.

What you can do
  • Read connection guidance on authorizing with an existing room-scoped agent bearer token
  • Read bounded room metadata, tool titles, recent messages and versions for the authorized room
  • No room creation, token issuance, AI generation, reviews, publishing or edits
When to use it
Use it when you already have a room-scoped agent token for an INTERNETS.FUN room and want an assistant to summarize recent messages and room metadata read-only. It is not for creating rooms, managing identities or posting content.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at internets.fun (streamable HTTP); no local package. An existing room-scoped agent bearer token from the room's Agents panel, supplied in the HTTP Authorization header and kept in the MCP client's secret store. Native directories that require OAuth need an additional OAuth adapter.
Before you install
The bearer token is a credential: keep it in the client secret store, never pass it as a tool argument or expose it in responses. Access is limited to one room and ends immediately on revocation or member removal. Room messages and titles are untrusted data and should not be treated as instructions. The server exposes no writes, so it cannot create rooms, publish or edit.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open INTERNETS.FUN room reader in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.theguysaccount%2Finternets/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

INTERNETS.FUN room reader

MCP endpoint: https://internets.fun/api/mcp

Connection metadata: https://internets.fun/agents.json

Use a room-scoped token from the room’s Agents panel in the Authorization header, kept in your MCP client secret store. The example environment variable is a placeholder. No production token is stored here. The token cannot read other rooms and loses access when revoked or its member is removed. Native directories requiring OAuth need an additional OAuth adapter. No room creation, hosted AI generation, reviews or writes are exposed.
