Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for searching public document metadata and reading pinned snapshot provenance from the Unredactus research dataset.

What you can do
  • Search bounded public document metadata by document-ID prefix, dataset or source classification
  • Read one document's metadata, source-reported change counts and classifications
  • Read snapshot provenance: dates, pinned upstream commit, source hashes, license, counts and stated limitations
When to use it
Useful when you need to look up public document metadata or check how a research snapshot was built and what it does not cover. It suits citation-aware research and triage, not live monitoring or person-level lookup.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. Network access to the provider's endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Results are a pinned snapshot, not a live monitor, and source classifications are triage labels rather than verified redactions or findings. Hashes show byte differences only. Reuse is subject to CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 and source rights, and source content should be treated as untrusted evidence rather than instructions.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Unredactus metadata research in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.theguysaccount%2Funredactus/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Only existing public source research is exposed. No private accounts, reviews, participant records, conversations or workspaces.
