Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that turns question-answer pairs you supply into an interactive flashcard deck, printable cut-out PDF, or Anki-style CSV.

What you can do
  • Build a flashcard deck from question-answer pairs the user provides
  • Flip cards interactively and track review progress
  • Print paired cut-out cards as an A4 or Letter PDF
  • Export an Anki-style Front/Back CSV
  • Drop duplicate pairs from the supplied set
When to use it
Useful when a user already has study material as question-answer pairs and wants to review it as flip cards, print cut-out cards, or move it into Anki. It is a formatting and export tool, not a content generator.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key, header or environment variable is declared. The assistant must be able to reach the hosted endpoint.
Before you install
It does not generate learning content or check facts, so accuracy depends entirely on the pairs supplied. The deck is created on a third-party hosted service, so supplied study material is sent to that service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Studycut Flashcards in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.theluckystrike%2Fflashcard-studio/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Generate flashcard deck

Use this when the user wants a flashcard maker for supplied question-answer pairs: flip cards interactively, track review progress, print paired cut-out cards as an A4 or Letter PDF, or export an Anki-style Front/Back CSV. Removes identical pairs. Does not generate learning content, check facts, provide spaced repetition, or sync progress. PDF simplifies accents and replaces unsupported characters; CSV preserves Unicode. Up to 24 cards and a 2,800-byte payload.
