Remote MCP server that lets an assistant screen up to 200 names against OFAC SDN and Consolidated sanctions lists and export a dated XLSX log.
What you can do
Screen one to 200 names in a batch against sanctions lists, with optional references, a type filter and a similarity threshold from 70 to 100
Look up details for a known positive match by uid, including aliases, programs, countries, truncated remarks and source dates
Produce a dated XLSX screening log of the results
When to use it
Useful when you need quick sanctions or OFAC screening of business or personal names, including batch checks, and want a dated record of the results. It is a screening aid, not an identity confirmation service.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variables or headers are declared, and no authentication is declared.
Before you install
Screening results are similarity-based matches on Latin transliterations, not identity confirmation, and the server states it should not be used for that or for other government lists. Names submitted are sent to a third-party hosted service, and the XLSX log may contain sensitive screening data.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.theluckystrike%2Fofac-screening/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Use this when the user wants ofac search, sanctions screening, or batch ofac screening of 1 to 200 names with optional references, a type filter and a threshold from 70 to 100, plus a dated XLSX log. Matches use Latin transliterations and token similarity on SDN and Consolidated lists. Do not use for a legal determination, other government lists or ownership analysis.

Review a sanctions entry
Use this when the user wants an ofac check, ofac sdn list detail, or sanctions list check for a known positive uid. Reads both lists unless one is specified and returns aliases, programs, countries, truncated remarks and source dates. Do not use for identity confirmation, other government lists or ownership analysis.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
