Hosted MCP endpoint offering product categorization, npm/PyPI package existence checks, and short-lived distributed locks for agents.
What you can do
Categorize up to 10 product listings into a standard taxonomy or custom labels, with answers checked by model consensus
Check whether a package exists on npm or PyPI and get its latest version
Acquire and release short-lived distributed locks so only one agent works on a resource at a time
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to sort product listings into categories, verify a package name before installing or recommending it, or coordinate several agents so they do not touch the same resource at once.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no signup or credentials needed for the free tier. The server issues an api_key on first response that should be passed back on later calls. Network access required.
Before you install
The server asks assistants to pass back the api_key it issues, and usage beyond the free daily quota is earned by answering optional tasks or by prepaying, so paid usage is possible. Locks are acquired and released on a shared service, which changes state for other agents. The source implementation is private.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.throttler300%2Fwork-access-platform/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
