A collaborative substrate over your data: vector, knowledge graph, SQL, geospatial, streaming.
Overview
Remote Toolbelt MCP endpoint that gives an assistant a shared data layer spanning vector search, knowledge graph, SQL, geospatial and streaming.
- What you can do
- Work across a Toolbelt namespace that combines vector search, a knowledge graph, SQL, geospatial data and streaming.
- Hand off to Toolbelt's MCP tools for the actual data work once a connection exists.
- Provision a free anonymous account and write the MCP connection into the agent's client config via the companion /toolbelt skill.
- Install, uninstall, list and locate that skill through the npx package.
- When to use it
- Worth adding when you want an assistant to query and combine several data styles — embeddings, graph relations, relational tables, location data and streams — through one hosted namespace instead of wiring up separate servers.
- Requirements
- A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.toolbelt.ai. OAuth is required: an Authorization header carrying a bearer token, which can be obtained from the onboarding endpoint as a free anonymous account. The optional skill package runs via npx and writes into the client's skills directory.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Toolbelt in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.toolbeltai%2Ftoolbelt/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

@toolbeltai/skills
The official skill for Toolbelt. Installs one
/toolbelt skill that any MCP-capable agent can use to connect to a
Toolbelt namespace and hand off to Toolbelt's MCP tools.
[npm version] [License: Apache 2.0]
Install
Copies toolbelt/SKILL.md into ~/.claude/skills/toolbelt/ (flat
layout per the AgentSkills spec). Restart your
client; the skill appears as /toolbelt.
No Toolbelt account required — the skill provisions one on first use.
What the skill does
When an agent runs /toolbelt for the first time, it:
- Checks for an existing Toolbelt MCP connection.
- If none, calls the public
/api/onboardendpoint to provision a free anonymous account. - Writes the MCP connection into the agent's client config.
- Hands off to Toolbelt's MCP tools for the actual work.
Full playbook in toolbelt/SKILL.md.
Works with
Claude Code · Claude Desktop · OpenClaw · Cursor · Gemini CLI · Codex CLI · Windsurf · any MCP client.

85% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
