Build, test and cache insights for Xcode, Gradle and Bazel projects, for coding agents.
Overview
Remote Tuist MCP endpoint that gives coding agents build, test and cache insights for Xcode, Gradle and Bazel projects.
- What you can do
- Access build, test and cache insights for Xcode, Gradle and Bazel projects
- Work with build and test workflows across Xcode, Gradle, Bazel, Elixir and Rust, with features varying by toolchain
- Use a content-addressable cache to speed up builds across environments
- Skip unchanged test targets, with an early-access option to select individual XCTest/XCUITest tests
- Review build and bundle insights and share app previews by link
- When to use it
- Useful when a coding agent works on Apple, Android/JVM or Bazel projects and should reason about build times, test selection, caching or app bundle quality rather than only editing code.
- Requirements
- A remote endpoint at tuist.dev reached over streamable HTTP, with OAuth sign-in required. No environment variables or headers are declared. A Tuist account and a project set up on the platform are implied by the account-based features.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Tuist in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.tuist%2Ftuist/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Tuist
Tuist is a build platform for engineering teams and their coding agents. It supports build and test workflows across Xcode, Gradle, Bazel, Elixir, and Rust; Once support is in canary. Features vary by toolchain, and Rust compilation caching is experimental.
The following solutions are part of Tuist:
- 🚝 Cache: Speed up builds across environments with a content-addressable store.
- ✅ Selective testing: Skip unchanged test targets in Tuist-generated Xcode projects; an account-enabled early-access coverage strategy can select individual XCTest/XCUITest tests.
- 📦 Registry: Speed up the resolution of Swift Package Index-indexed packages.
- 📈 Build insights: Get actionable insights from your projects, builds, and test runs to make informed decisions.
- 📱 Bundle insights: Analyze your built apps and get suggestions to improve them.
- 📲 Previews: Sharing apps (previews) as easy as sharing a link.
- 🗂️ Generated projects: A solution for more accessible and easier-to-manage Xcode projects.
Openness and community are cornerstones in shaping Tuist, as we believe they are the key to building the best solution. We recommend checking out the following resources:
