Prop Firm Rules Engine
io.github.tylerscomic-labv1.0.0Updated Oct 2, 2026
Instant "can I take this trade?" check against prop firm drawdown/position/consistency rules.
Overview
Checks whether a proposed prop firm trade fits the firm's drawdown, position size, consistency and daily loss rules.
- What it does
- This server exposes a prop firm rule set as callable tools. It reports pass/fail status for an evaluation or funded account, remaining drawdown headroom (trailing or static), maximum allowed contracts for an instrument, and whether the best single day breaches the firm's consistency percentage. It can also return the full structured rule set for a given firm and account size.
- When to use it
- Useful for prop firm traders who want a quick rule check before entering a trade instead of doing drawdown and position math by hand mid-session. It is aimed at evaluations and funded accounts where a silent rule breach can fail the account.
- Requirements
- A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The hosted option is described as free tier with a paid Pro tier for higher limits, and self-hosting is documented via npm install and node server.js, which requires Node.js.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Prop Firm Rules Engine in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

prop-rules-mcp
[License: MIT] [Live on MCPize]
An MCP server that answers "can I take this trade?" instantly, against a specific prop firm's actual rules — drawdown remaining, max position size, consistency rule, daily loss limit — instead of a trader doing that math by hand mid-session.
The problem this solves
Prop firm rules vary firm-to-firm and account-size-to-account-size (trailing vs. static drawdown, consistency rule thresholds, per-instrument contract caps), and breaking one silently fails an evaluation or a funded account — often discovered only after the fact. This puts the actual rule set behind a tool call instead of a tab of firm PDFs.
Tools
check_account_status
Pass/fail state for a live evaluation or funded account: how close to each limit, and what actions are safe right now.
get_drawdown_remaining
Exact drawdown headroom left before account breach, trailing or static.
get_max_position_size
Max allowed contracts for a given instrument, per firm and account-size rules.
check_consistency_rule
Checks whether a trader's best single day exceeds the firm's allowed percentage of total profit — the rule that quietly disqualifies otherwise-passing accounts.
get_firm_rules
Full rule set for a specific prop firm and account size, as structured data.
Use it
