Publish and schedule UGC videos, slideshows and images to TikTok and Instagram accounts.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that lets an assistant publish and schedule UGC videos, slideshows and images to TikTok and Instagram accounts.

What you can do
  • Check credits, connected accounts and recent activity, and list TikTok/Instagram accounts
  • Create connect links so creators can link their own accounts without sharing passwords
  • Import public videos or images from a URL and read TikTok creator info, privacy options and limits
  • Publish now or schedule posts to one or many accounts, and preview or create multi-post campaigns
  • List posts and campaigns with per-account results, public URLs and error reasons; cancel posts or campaigns and retry failed ones
  • Read views, likes, comments and shares
When to use it
Use it when you want an assistant to push finished short-form video or image content to TikTok and Instagram, plan and schedule batches of posts across several accounts, or check what was published and why something failed.
Requirements
A remote MCP server at ugcapi.dev/mcp over streamable HTTP; nothing to install or host. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE, via a one-time email code for a UGC API account, and you approve access to a workspace. Posting consumes paid credits.
Before you install
Posting publishes to real social accounts and spends credits (stated as $10 per 1,000 posts); new accounts get 50 free posts. Cancel tools are marked destructive, so scheduled posts and campaigns can be removed. Access is granted to a whole workspace, and connect links let creators attach their own accounts. Facebook Pages and YouTube are not supported yet.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open UGC API in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.ugcapi%2Fmcp-server/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.
