Remote VoiceHue server that lets an assistant list available voices and convert text into spoken MP3 or WAV audio.
What you can do
List the public VoiceHue voices a key can use, with id, name, language and gender
Convert text into spoken audio with a chosen voice, returning the audio plus a short summary of voice, character count and duration
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to produce spoken audio from short text passages, such as voiceovers, narration or audio versions of written content, without running any local software.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at voicehue.com reached over streamable HTTP. A VoiceHue API key is required and sent as a bearer token in the Authorization header; a free key can be created in the VoiceHue dashboard. Network access is needed.
Before you install
The API key in the Authorization header is a secret and should be kept private. Text sent for synthesis goes to VoiceHue's servers, so avoid submitting confidential content. Each call is limited to 1,200 characters, and the free plan may have usage limits.
Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.voicehue%2Fvoicehue/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Convert text to spoken audio with a VoiceHue voice. Returns the audio (MP3 by default, or WAV) and a one-line summary with the voice, number of characters and duration. Up to 1,200 characters per call. Use list_voices first to get a valid voice id.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
