Resurrect expired domains: scrape Wayback, AI-rewrite, generate images, publish to WordPress.
Overview
Lets an assistant resurrect expired domains by scraping Wayback pages, rewriting them with AI, generating images, and publishing to WordPress.
- What you can do
- Wraps the Web Resurrect API so an assistant can run a full expired-domain pipeline: create a project for a domain, fetch archived URLs, enrich with Haloscan or Majestic SEO data, scrape pages from the Wayback Machine, rewrite them with AI, generate featured images, categorize pages, and publish to WordPress. Bulk variants exist for scraping, rewriting, image generation, and publishing, plus job tools to poll or wait for asynchronous work and an overview tool for pipeline status.
- When to use it
- Use it when you want an assistant to rebuild an expired domain into a publishable WordPress site end to end, or to run parts of that pipeline such as scraping archived pages, rewriting content, or bulk publishing. It suits users who already have a Web Resurrect account and a WordPress site to publish to.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio, typically via npx @web-resurrect/mcp, so Node.js is needed. A Web Resurrect API key is required in the WEB_RESURRECT_API_KEY environment variable. The optional WEB_RESURRECT_BASE_URL variable overrides the API base URL for self-hosted or staging use. Network access to the Web Resurrect API and to your WordPress site is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Web Resurrect in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
