Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted web2wave MCP server that lets an assistant work with quiz funnels, paywalls, subscriptions, analytics and A/B experiments.

What you can do
  • Create and edit quiz and paywall screens as JSON
  • Run design-to-quiz pipelines from Figma or screenshots with visual QA
  • Preview and publish validated quiz funnels
  • Analyze A/B experiments and get ship or keep-running verdicts
  • Discover the web2wave API and its safety model
When to use it
Useful when you build or iterate on web2wave quiz funnels, paywalls and subscription flows, or when you want an assistant to draft screens, preview changes and read out experiment results inside your editor.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at mcp.web2wave.com over streamable HTTP with OAuth (PKCE) authorization. You need a web2wave project API key from the project settings to authorize. A local stdio alternative exists via npx with a WEB2WAVE_API_KEY environment variable.
Before you install
Authorization uses your project API key, which grants access to your web2wave project. The server can create and publish quiz and paywall content and change live funnels, so review previews before publishing. Design-to-quiz workflows may send Figma or screenshot content to the service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open web2wave in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.web2wave%2Fweb2wave/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

web2wave Cursor Plugin

Official Cursor plugin for web2wave — quiz funnels, paywalls, subscriptions, analytics, and A/B experiments.

Includes:

  • MCP server — hosted at https://mcp.web2wave.com/mcp (OAuth + PKCE)
  • Skills — quiz authoring, design-to-quiz pipeline, experiment readouts
  • Workflows — validated publish paths, preview URLs, visual iteration loops

The MCP server implementation lives in web2wave/web2wave-mcp.

Install

  1. Open Cursor Settings → Plugins (or install from the Cursor Marketplace once listed).
  2. Add this repository: https://github.com/web2wave/cursor-plugin
  3. Enable the web2wave MCP server when prompted.
  4. Authorize with your project API key (Cabinet → Project Settings → API).

Cursor opens a browser OAuth page — paste your API key once; the token is stored for subsequent sessions.

Local stdio alternative (for development):

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "web2wave": {      "command": "npx",      "args": ["-y", "@web2wave/mcp"],      "env": { "WEB2WAVE_API_KEY": "your-project-key" }    }  }}

See web2wave-mcp README for all auth modes and environment variables.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
