MCP server for wheelfor.com — create, spin, and manage decision wheels
Overview
Creates, spins and updates shareable decision wheels on wheelfor.com, letting an assistant pick randomly from a list of options.
- What you can do
- Create wheels from a list of options, with a name, description and visual theme
- Spin an existing wheel by slug or URL and get a random winning choice plus a shareable result link
- Update a wheel's choices, name, theme or description using its edit key
- Pick a random option from a list and create a permanent wheel for it in one step
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to settle a choice between options, or to build and share a themed spinning wheel for a team activity, poll or casual decision.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process via npx from the npm package @wheelfor/mcp, configured in an MCP host such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code. No account, API key or environment variables are declared; network access to wheelfor.com is implied.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Wheelfor in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
