Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint hosted by AI-HIVE; no local install needed. Authentication is required: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE against the public endpoint, or an AI-HIVE API key supplied in the x-ai-hive-api-key header (AI_HIVE_API_KEY when running the reference server locally). Network access to the AI-HIVE service.
Before you install
Generation tools are non-idempotent and can incur charges, so repeated submissions may cost money; after receiving a task_id, query that task instead of resubmitting. Uploaded media and prompts are sent to the AI-HIVE service, which is a third party. Treat the API key as a secret and review the provider's privacy, terms and security policies before use.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AI-HIVE AIGC in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

AI Hive AIGC MCP Server

AI Hive AIGC is a Streamable HTTP MCP server for commercial image, video, e-commerce, marketing and advertising generation. One server exposes model discovery, media upload, image generation, video generation, e-commerce workflows, advertising/TVC workflows and task polling.

Authentication

The public endpoint advertises OAuth 2.1 protected-resource metadata and supports PKCE. The local reference server also supports an AI-HIVE API key in the request header:

For local development, set AI_HIVE_API_KEY. The local server intentionally allows unauthenticated MCP discovery so registries can index the tool catalog; generation calls fail safely until a user provides a key.
