SEC filings, 13F, Form 4 insider trades, Congress trades, short interest and PDUFA dates via Apify
The publisher's own server: Budget Tracker by Smart Money
Overview
Hosted Apify MCP server that gives an assistant SEC filings, 13F holdings, insider, Congress and short-interest data for stock research.
- What you can do
- Pull SEC filings and XBRL financials, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and company revenue, EPS and cash flow
- Track insider activity: Form 4 buys and sells, Form 144 planned sales, 13D/13G activist stakes
- Follow institutional and political money: 13F hedge fund portfolios, 13F consensus, Congress STOCK Act trades, federal contracts and lobbying
- Screen risk and catalysts: short interest and squeeze scores, dark pool volume, trading halts, red-flag scores, PDUFA and biotech dates
- Run watchlist alerts and combined smart-money scores, plus Polymarket whale trades, FDA recalls and website tech stack detection
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to research US equities from public disclosure data — insider and congressional trading, hedge fund positions, filings, short interest or biotech catalysts — without building scrapers yourself.
- Requirements
- Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.apify.com; nothing to install. Needs an Apify account and an Apify API token sent as an Authorization Bearer header, or OAuth in clients that support it. Actor runs are billed pay-per-result on that account.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Smart Money Data (SEC, 13F, Congress, Insider Trades) in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.wyeming95-rgb%2Fsmartmoney-data/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Smart Money Data MCP
Remote MCP servers for the smartmoney-data Apify Actors: SEC EDGAR filings, Form 4 insider trades, 13F hedge fund holdings, Congress stock trades, 13D/13G activist stakes, Form 144 planned sales, 8-K events, company financials (XBRL), short interest, dark pool volume, trading halts, PDUFA / biotech catalysts, Polymarket whales, plus an FDA recall checker and a website tech stack detector.
Nothing to install. Each server is the hosted Apify MCP server (https://mcp.apify.com, streamable HTTP) with a fixed set of Actors loaded. Data comes from official public sources (SEC EDGAR, FINRA, Nasdaq Trader, House/Senate STOCK Act disclosures, openFDA, ClinicalTrials.gov, USAspending, LDA).
Authentication
Use an Apify API token in the Authorization: Bearer <token> header (get one at https://console.apify.com/account/integrations), or connect with OAuth in clients that support it. Actor runs are billed pay-per-result on your Apify account; see each Actor's page for prices.
Servers
Single-Actor endpoint pattern: https://mcp.apify.com/?actors=smartmoney-data/<actor-name>. Combine several with commas: ?actors=smartmoney-data/a,smartmoney-data/b.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
