Overview

AI-generated overview

A local causality ledger MCP server that records decisions and the reasons behind them so an agent can recall them later.

What you can do
  • Record decisions together with the reasons behind them in a local ledger.
  • Recall earlier decisions and their rationale when an agent needs context.
  • Keep a running history of why choices were made, stored on the user's own machine.
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to remember why a decision was made and refer back to it in later sessions, rather than losing that context between conversations.
Requirements
Runs as a local process on the user's machine via uvx from the PyPI package toki-toki-mcp; requires a Python/uv environment. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
The ledger stores decision records locally, so anything recorded persists on the user's machine and may be recalled by the agent later; avoid recording secrets or sensitive details. No write, delete or third-party data-sharing behavior is documented.

Installation

  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
