Free remote and overseas job search with sources and eligibility checks. Usage limits apply.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Free remote job-search MCP that lets an assistant search sourced remote and visa-sponsorship roles, score fit, and keep a career profile.

What you can do
  • Search a small page of sourced jobs by filters and weighted preferences, with exclusions applied before pagination
  • Read job details with cached links, relationship basis and verification status, and search or look up companies by name or exact website hostname
  • Read, update, merge or delete the account's career summary, including pausing and resuming future saves
  • Check hosted account or guest allowance and create an invitation link on explicit request
  • Start a planning step that restores known facts before asking questions
When to use it
Useful when someone wants an assistant to find remote or overseas roles with visa sponsorship, compare them against their experience and preferences, and keep a reusable career summary across sessions. It is a starting point for search and prioritization, not a hiring prediction.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint; no registration, full resume or mailbox setup is needed to start. Some clients install it as a plugin or via a connection guide. Coverage and free quotas vary, and the AI client or model may bill separately.
Before you install
Usage limits apply to the hosted service, and the referral link grants a one-time bonus only when the user explicitly asks. Profile updates write and can delete career data; delete_profile clears the summary and pauses saves. Job scores are prioritization aids, and remote eligibility or visa sponsorship must be verified against each listing. Application records stay local, but email and form actions depend on connected tools and authorization.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open WorldRole in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.zzn199216%2Fworldrole/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Find remote jobs worldwide or overseas roles offering visa sponsorship. Let AI help from search and match scoring through application.

WorldRole is a free job-search MCP and agent workflow. It connects multiple job sources, your career context and application steps so your AI can identify worthwhile opportunities, prepare materials, assist with applications and follow up on replies.

How far can your AI take you?

StageWhat you get
Discover opportunitiesSearch multiple sources for remote, overseas and visa-sponsorship opportunities, with original listing links
Assess and score fitEvaluate matches against your experience, skills and preferences, with reasons, gaps and conditions to verify
Prepare applicationsReuse known experience and materials to draft and tailor letters and application content; collect essential missing details together
Apply and follow upUse a connected mailbox or available tools for authorized sending, application records, follow-ups and routine replies; bring interviews, salary discussions and personal decisions to you

Scores help prioritize applications; they are not hiring probabilities. Remote location eligibility and visa sponsorship must be checked against each job's actual requirements.

Copy one request to get started

Follow https://raw.githubusercontent.com/zzn199216/worldrole-mcp/main/INSTALL_FREE_SOURCES.md to install WorldRole and its free job sources for me. Handle setup and preserve my existing connections. Find remote jobs worldwide or overseas roles offering visa sponsorship that fit my experience and preferences, assess the matches and help prepare applications. Reuse known information and ask for essential missing details together.

Send it to an agent that can install tools and configure MCP. No registration, complete resume or mailbox setup is needed to start. For clients that only support web connections, see the connection guide.

More free sources, less repeated setup

Sources include WorldRole, Himalayas, Jobicy, Arbeitnow, and company career pages on Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever. Your agent selects sources as needed, removes duplicate links and preserves attribution. You do not need to configure each source separately. Coverage and free quotas vary; your AI client or model may charge separately.

On first use, your agent gives two 0–10 scores for its understanding of your career capabilities and its knowledge of your application materials, each with a short reason. These are separate from job-match scores and do not rate your ability. Even at zero, it can start exploring and learn as you go.

Reuse an existing mailbox connection. Actual email and form actions depend on available tools and authorization. Ongoing inbox checks require a running scheduled task; otherwise checks resume next time. Application records stay on your computer, and resumes and correspondence are not sent to job sources as search content.

Tools

10

get_profile

Read/export the current account's compact career summary for conversational onboarding. Empty fields are missing, not a reason to send the user a form. Never accepts another user ID.

Takes no parameters.

update_profile

Save important career facts. mode=compiled submits COMPLETE merged summaries for changed fields; omitted fields stay, null explicitly deletes. mode=supplement fills missing fields and skips exact duplicates; changes to populated fields return PROFILE_MERGE_REQUIRED with affected context, atomically without saving. Compile that context and retry compiled, preserving old facts. No server LLM or pending queue. Read first; batch meaningful changes, no-op does not bump version. user_reported needs user statements; document_supported needs accessible evidence, inference stays needs_confirmation. Values <=500 chars, total <=8 KB; no full chats/files/secrets. Reuse request_id for identical retry, re-read on conflict. resume=True only on explicit request to resume paused memory; never reconstruct deleted facts.

Parametersmodepatchrequiredresumerequest_idrequiredexpected_versionrequired

delete_profile

When the user asks to forget or stop remembering, clear their career summary and pause future saves. Retains only an empty version marker. The user can later ask to resume via update_profile(resume=True), without visiting a settings page.

Parametersrequest_idrequiredexpected_versionrequired

get_usage

Read current hosted account/guest allowance when requested. No promotion at install/startup; external free sources have independent limits. Does not spend a job.

Takes no parameters.

boardwork_start

Restore known facts and plan useful work before asking. Optional assistance_context describes actual task requirements and client checks, without private answers. Defaults to zero questions; no profile writes, sending, monitoring or live verification are performed.

Parameterslocaleworkflowprofile_stateassistance_context

search_jobs

Search a small page of sourced jobs by explicit filters and weighted preferences. Defaults to one role per company. Exclusions apply before pagination.

Parameterscountcursorintentfilterspreferencesexclude_job_idsone_per_companyexclude_company_ids

get_jobs

Read selected details; verification includes cached links, relationship basis, times and missing checks. Use host search/browser to verify before acting. not_available is not proof the employer closed the job.

Parametersjob_idsrequiredsections

search_companies

Find known companies by name OR exact website hostname. An empty list is only a corpus gap; never fetches arbitrary URLs.

Parametersnamelimitcursordomain

get_company

Read company identity and a few accepted roles. Company-wide policies do not automatically apply to every role.

100% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
