Kryptos
io.kryptosv1.0.1Updated Oct 3, 2026
Kryptos crypto portfolio, transaction, tax and accounting tools and reconciliation.
Overview
Connects an assistant to a Kryptos crypto workspace to read holdings, transactions, ledgers and tax figures, and to fix data with confirmation.
- What it does
- The Kryptos MCP server exposes tools that read a Kryptos workspace's holdings, transaction history, ledgers, tax figures and chart of accounts, and tools that correct data such as labels, prices, contacts, rules and journals after confirmation. It covers data across exchanges, wallets and blockchains, and supports review and reconciliation checks, tax-year preparation and reporting, and bookkeeping workflows that sync a chart of accounts with accounting systems and push journals.
- When to use it
- Useful when someone keeps crypto records in Kryptos and wants an assistant to summarise a portfolio, work through reconciliation issues such as uncategorised transactions or balance mismatches, prepare a tax year, or handle crypto bookkeeping without leaving the chat.
- Requirements
- A Kryptos account and a remote connection to the Kryptos MCP server; sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 and one Kryptos workspace is selected. Bookkeeping and ERP features require a Kryptos Enterprise workspace. No local runtime, package or API key is needed.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Kryptos in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Kryptos for Claude
Kryptos brings your crypto portfolio, transaction history, tax figures and accounting ledger into Claude, across 5,000+ exchanges, wallets and blockchains.
This plugin connects Claude to the Kryptos MCP server and adds four skills that guide Claude through common workflows.
What's included
Install
In Claude Code:
Then run /mcp, choose kryptos and sign in with your Kryptos account.
Authentication and data
- You sign in to Kryptos with OAuth 2.1 and choose one Kryptos workspace. Claude can only act on that workspace, within the permissions your Kryptos role allows. You can revoke access from your Kryptos account at any time.
- The only service this plugin talks to is the Kryptos MCP server at
https://mcp.kryptos.io/, which reads and writes your Kryptos workspace data. The plugin itself contains no scripts, hooks or credentials. - Kryptos never asks for exchange API keys, wallet private keys, seed phrases or passwords in the conversation. Wallets are added by public address only; exchanges are connected in the Kryptos web app.
- No tool can send, swap, withdraw, deposit or trade any asset. The skills ask for your confirmation before changing Kryptos data (labels, prices, contacts, rules, journals), and Claude asks before running a tool that writes.
