Overview

AI-generated overview

Read-only Launchpad HQ connector that lets an assistant search, compare and price AI tools using dated, sourced catalog facts.

What you can do
  • Search the AI tool catalog by task, budget, skill level or platform, with dated free-tier facts where available
  • Compare 2 to 4 named AI tools side by side on plans, API pricing, usage limits and platforms
  • Look up pricing and free-tier facts for a single tool, with verified prices shown before catalog text
  • Find free or freemium alternatives to a given AI tool, ranking verified free tiers first
When to use it
Useful when someone is choosing an AI tool and wants sourced pricing, free-tier limits or side-by-side comparisons, especially for beginners or budget-conscious buyers. Not needed for general web research or for tools outside the Launchpad HQ catalog.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at launchpadhq.io; no package, environment variables or headers are declared, and no authentication is declared.
Before you install
Results are informational only: unverified entries are labeled catalog_only, fallback items are popular tools rather than direct matches, and stale items have outdated facts. Prices change often and should be confirmed on the vendor's site before buying. Every result links to a Launchpad HQ page.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Launchpad HQ in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.launchpadhq%2Flaunchpad-hq/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Everything below this box is the unmodified create-next-app boilerplate. It carries no information about this project. START-HERE.md carries the onboarding: what the project is, which of its own documents are now false, the reasoning behind every hard rule, the current repository state, and how work gets done here.

Then: CLAUDE.md for conventions and coding rules, AGENTS.md for the Next.js 16 warning, and docs/history/ for the archived project record.

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

bash
npm run dev# oryarn dev# orpnpm dev# orbun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
