Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for PageLens web analytics: lets an assistant read traffic, funnels, errors, Web Vitals and AI-visibility data, and create goals or…

What you can do
  • List accessible sites and saved segments, and pull headline metrics with period comparisons and time series
  • Break down traffic by page, referrer, channel, UTM, country, device, browser, OS, language, events and outbound links
  • Inspect realtime visitors, recent sessions, single-session pageview timelines, custom events, JavaScript errors and Core Web Vitals
  • Analyse journeys, conversion funnels, goals, cohort retention and identified users
  • Read Google Search Console data and bot/AI traffic, including AI crawler reads and AI-referred visits
  • Create goals, add chart annotations, and erase a user's data for GDPR requests
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about a site's traffic, conversions, performance or AI visibility without opening a dashboard, or to draft goals and annotations from analytics findings.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at app.pagelens.io; no local package. Requires a PageLens API key sent as an Authorization bearer token. Write operations (create_goal, add_annotation, delete_user_data) need a write key plus member or admin access. Google Search Console data only appears when connected.
Before you install
The API key is a secret sent in the Authorization header and grants access to the sites it covers. create_goal and add_annotation change analytics configuration, and delete_user_data permanently erases a user's events, session replays and profile. Analytics data, including user traits and session details, is sent to the assistant's model provider.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open PageLens Analytics in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.pagelens%2Fpagelens/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

list_sites

List the websites this key can access, with visitors in the last 24 hours.

Takes no parameters.

list_segments

Saved segments (named filter sets such as "Paid traffic" or "Mobile in Germany") that can be applied to any report with segment_id.

Parameterssite_idrequired

get_overview

Headline metrics (visitors, sessions, pageviews, pages per session, bounce rate, average session duration) for a period, compared with the previous period of the same length, plus a time series.
