Overview

AI-generated overview

Gives an assistant a phone line: it dials numbers, navigates menus and hold, runs errands by voice, and relays messages to and from its user.

What you can do
  • Place calls that work menus and hold until a person answers, then ring the user's mobile
  • Run errands by phone such as reservations, appointments, questions and cancellations
  • Review recent calls, full transcripts with speaker and time, and recording links
  • Manage the user's own agent-answered number, callback mobile and who may reach them
  • Read notes the user phoned in and send them spoken messages, by hold or by ringing them
  • Check prepaid balance and usage, buy credits, rename the agent and connect Google Calendar
When to use it
Useful when the user wants an assistant to handle real phone calls on their behalf, such as booking, cancelling or asking a business a question, or to leave and receive spoken messages through a dedicated number.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at ringler.io over streamable HTTP. The user signs in once via OAuth; no API key is needed to start. A mobile number is needed for callbacks, and Google Calendar approval is optional. Credits are required for calls and for a dedicated number.
Before you install
Calls spend prepaid credits at $0.30 per minute, and a dedicated number costs $3 per month from credits; buy_credits opens a card checkout for $20 to $500. Calls are recorded and transcribed, and voicemail messages are left by default. The agent may dial third parties and speak on the user's behalf, so only place calls the user asked for and confirm before buying a number.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Ringler in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.ringler%2Fringler/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

about

What Ringler is

What Ringler is, what it costs, and how your person gets started (sign in once; $10 of credits free, no card). Call this first if you have no key. (No API key needed.)

Takes no parameters.

status

Where things stand

Your person's line, their agent's name, their mobile, calendar, who may reach them, balance, and the next thing to set up. Start here.

Takes no parameters.

call

Get me a human

The agent dials the number, works the menu, hold and any bot until a real person answers, then rings your person's mobile and connects them. Spends credits ($0.30/min). If it hits voicemail it leaves a short message with a callback (default on; voicemail: skip to turn off).

errand

Do the asking for me

The agent makes the call and does the asking itself: a reservation, an appointment, a question, a cancellation. It only rings your person if the other side needs them (a card, a decision). Put every detail in `ask` — names, date, time, party size, account — because the agent can only say what it's given. Spends credits. Leaves a message on voicemail by default.

my_calls

My recent calls

Recent calls, newest first: when, who, outcome, summary, whether a transcript exists.

Parameterslimit

A call, word for word

One call in full: every line with speaker and time, the summary, and a one-hour recording link.

Parametersidrequired

my_number

My line

Your person's own phone number, answered by their agent. Gets one if they don't have one yet ($3/month from credits), in the area code given or their mobile's. Confirm with them before the first buy.

Parametersarea_code

my_mobile

My mobile

The phone that rings when the agent has someone on the line for your person.

who_can_reach_me

Who gets put through

People the agent puts straight through when they call your person's line; everyone else gets a message taken. Pass `people` to set the list, nothing to read it.

Parameterspeople

my_messages

What my person said on the phone

Instructions and notes your person left for you by calling their own line and telling the agent. Returns new ones (marks them read). Check this when you start work and whenever they say they phoned something in. Pass all:true for the recent history.

Parametersall

tell_me

Leave word for my person

Send your person a spoken message through their agent. mode 'hold' (default) keeps it until they next call their line; 'call' rings their mobile now and the agent reads it, then takes anything they want to send back (it lands in my_messages). Use 'call' only when they asked to be rung, or for something that can't wait. Calls spend credits.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
