Plan, write, schedule and measure your team's LinkedIn posts in Scripe from your AI assistant.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted Scripe MCP server that lets an assistant plan, draft, schedule, publish and analyze a team's LinkedIn posts.

What you can do
  • Plan posts across profiles and company pages: view calendars and open slots, turn ideas into planned posts
  • Draft and edit posts in each person's voice using past posts, positioning and the knowledge base
  • Schedule posts for a time or publish immediately, with confirmation before publishing
  • Read LinkedIn analytics per post, profile and period, including which formats and topics performed
  • Organize ideas, labels, campaigns, media and brand settings
When to use it
Useful for B2B teams and agencies that manage LinkedIn content for several people or company pages and want an assistant to help plan a week or month, draft in each person's voice, fill calendar slots and report on results.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint with OAuth 2.1 sign-in on first use; nothing to install or run locally. A Scripe account is required, and scheduling and publishing need a paid plan or trial. No API key or environment variable is used.
Before you install
The assistant can write, schedule and publish posts and delete items in your Scripe workspace; publishing immediately, deleting and sending review requests ask for confirmation first. Access is granted as read-only or full at sign-in, so choose deliberately. It does not like, comment on or repost other people's posts.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Scripe in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.scripe%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Scripe for AI agents

Plan, write, schedule and measure your team's LinkedIn posts in Scripe from Hermes Agent, Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and any other agent that speaks MCP.

Scripe is a social media management platform for B2B teams and agencies, built LinkedIn-first. This repository packages Scripe for agents:

  • skills/scripe/SKILL.md, an Agent Skill that teaches an agent how to work with Scripe: plan a period for every profile, write posts in each person's voice, schedule, publish and read analytics.
  • The hosted Scripe MCP server, https://mcp.scripe.io/mcp. Nothing to install or run: sign in with OAuth on first use. ~130 operations across posts, ideas, the calendar, the knowledge base, media, analytics and brand settings.
  • Plugin manifests for Claude Code, Cursor, Grok Build and Gemini CLI that bundle the two.

You need a Scripe account. Every plan, Free included, can connect; scheduling and publishing need a paid plan or a trial. Start free.

The Scripe MCP server

Scripe's MCP server lets an AI assistant work in your Scripe workspace: plan, draft, schedule and analyze LinkedIn posts for every profile and company page on your team. It is the server listed in the MCP Registry as io.scripe/mcp.

Endpointhttps://mcp.scripe.io/mcp
TransportStreamable HTTP (remote, hosted by Scripe; nothing to install or run)
AuthOAuth 2.1 with Dynamic Client Registration and PKCE. Your client registers itself and opens a Scripe sign-in on first use; no API key
Docshttps://scripe.io/developers/api/v1/mcp

What it can do:

  • Plan: see the calendar and open slots for every profile, plan a week or a month of posts across the team, and turn ideas into planned posts.
  • Draft: write and edit posts in each person's own voice, using their past posts, positioning and your knowledge base.
  • Schedule and publish: schedule a post for a time, or publish it now (publishing now asks you to confirm first).
  • Analyze: read LinkedIn results per post, profile and period, and which formats and topics performed.
  • Organize: ideas, labels, campaigns, media and brand settings.

VS Code and GitHub Copilot

Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace (or to your user MCP configuration with the MCP: Open User Configuration command):

json
{  "servers": {    "scripe": {      "type": "http",      "url": "https://mcp.scripe.io/mcp"    }  }}

Start the server from the file or the MCP: List Servers command. VS Code opens a browser window to sign in to Scripe and authorize access; pick Read-only or Full access there. Then use Copilot Chat in Agent mode, where the Scripe tools appear in the tools picker.

Other MCP clients

Any client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers with OAuth connects with the URL alone: add https://mcp.scripe.io/mcp as a remote or custom server. mcp.json in this repository holds the same entry in the mcpServers format many clients read. Setup per host is below and in skills/scripe/references/connect.md.

Install

Hermes Agent

bash
hermes skills install well-known:https://scripe.io/.well-known/skills/scripe

Then connect the MCP server in ~/.hermes/config.yaml:

yaml
mcp_servers: scripe: url: "https://mcp.scripe.io/mcp" auth: oauth
bash
hermes mcp login scripe

Claude Code

text
/plugin marketplace add Scripe-GmbH/scripe-agent/plugin install scripe@scripe-agent

Gemini CLI

bash
gemini extensions install https://github.com/Scripe-GmbH/scripe-agent

Any skills-compatible agent (Codex, Cursor, OpenClaw, …)

bash
npx skills add Scripe-GmbH/scripe-agent

and add https://mcp.scripe.io/mcp as a remote MCP server in that agent.

Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients

Add a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.scripe.io/mcp.

Setup for every host: skills/scripe/references/connect.md.

Try it

  • "Plan next week's LinkedIn posts for everyone on the team."
  • "Write a LinkedIn post in my voice about what we learned this quarter."
  • "Turn yesterday's customer call into three post ideas."
  • "How did my posts perform last month, and which formats worked?"
  • "Schedule the draft about pricing for Tuesday 9:00."
  • "Which open slots does our company page have this month? Fill them with drafts from our For You ideas."
  • "Show me everything waiting for my review."

What it will not do

Publishing a post right away, deleting anything and sending a review request each ask for your confirmation first. Scripe never likes, comments on or reposts other people's LinkedIn posts for you.

Network and credentials

This package contains no code, hooks, scripts or binaries: only Markdown and JSON manifests. It connects one network endpoint, the hosted MCP server https://mcp.scripe.io/mcp, whose OAuth authorization server is https://scripe.io. No API key, token or environment variable is needed or read: the host signs in with OAuth 2.1 (Dynamic Client Registration + PKCE) and stores the token itself.
