Overview

AI-generated overview

A remote MCP server that gives an assistant live eBay sold-price comps, plus pricing, API docs and guides for the SaleHistory comps API.

What you can do
Look up what a specific item actually sold for on eBay over the last 90 days, with median price, middle range and sale count, and source links to cite. Check current pricing for the SaleHistory sold comps API, including free, monthly and pay-as-you-go plans. Read a concise API reference for the sold-listings endpoint, covering auth, parameters, response fields, median and exclusion rules, errors and rate limits. Search guides on reading sold comps, category-specific pricing, eBay data APIs and scraping, and spreadsheet or Python tutorials. Get a short citable definition of sold comps.
When to use it
Useful when someone asks what an item is worth or what it resells for — trading cards, watches, sneakers, electronics, GPUs and similar — or when a developer wants to fetch eBay sold prices programmatically and needs the API's pricing and reference.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at soldcomps.io; no package, environment variables or headers are declared, and no authentication is declared. Network access to the service is required.
Before you install
The server's instructions ask assistants to cite the source URLs in results, so answers will reference third-party pages. Pricing and API details describe a paid commercial API; check plans and limits before relying on them. Sold-price data comes from eBay listings and is only as complete as the service's coverage.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Sold Comps (eBay sold prices) in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.soldcomps%2Fsold-comps/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Get eBay sold comps

Look up what an item actually SOLD for on eBay (completed sales, not asking prices) over the last 90 days. Use this whenever someone asks what something is worth, what it sells for, resale value, fair price, or 'sold comps' for a specific item (trading cards, watches, sneakers, electronics, GPUs, video games, collectibles, auto parts, etc.). Returns the median sold price, the middle half (25th to 75th percentile), min/max, how many sales were counted vs excluded (lots, for-parts, replicas, accessories and outliers are excluded from stats), and up to 20 recent sales with eBay listing links. Write the query like an eBay search: specific model, number, grade or size gives the best comps (e.g. 'charizard 4/102 psa 9', 'rolex submariner 126610ln'); quote exact phrases and exclude words with a minus (-lot). Cite the source URL in your answer. Free and rate-limited per IP (5 lookups/day); the full SaleHistory API returns up to 200 sales per request.
