Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server for Acuity Scheduling: read appointments, calendars and availability, and create, cancel or reschedule bookings.

What you can do
  • List and fetch appointments, with a compact contacts view and pagination
  • List appointment types, calendars, labels, blocked-off times and account profile
  • Check available dates, time slots and group class slots for an appointment type
  • List clients, intake forms, products and store orders
  • Create, cancel and reschedule appointments, and create client records
  • Report usage, request a feature, and upgrade or cancel the paid plan
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to answer scheduling questions from a live Acuity account, such as what is booked tomorrow or when the next free consultation slot is, and to make or move bookings without opening the Acuity dashboard.
Requirements
Remote endpoint reached over streamable HTTP; no local install. Sign-in is via OAuth, and the login page asks for an Acuity User ID and API Key (Acuity → Integrations → API), stored per user. No API key or Authorization header goes in the client config. A free tier allows 50 tool calls per month.
Before you install
Four tools write to the account: creating, cancelling and rescheduling appointments and creating clients; these change the calendar and may send confirmation, cancellation or update emails unless suppressed. Confirm before running them. Acuity credentials are entered on the hosted login page and stored by the third-party provider. Paid plans cost $9/month or $90/year (Pro) and $39/month or $390/year (Pro+), billed through a Stripe checkout link, with no refund for the current period on…

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Acuity Scheduling MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Facuity-scheduling/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Acuity Scheduling MCP by usefulapi

Manage Acuity Scheduling from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — read appointments, appointment types, calendars and availability, and create, cancel or reschedule bookings. Hosted, no local install: connect with your Acuity credentials.

Live endpoint: https://acuity-scheduling.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://acuity-scheduling.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http acuity-scheduling https://acuity-scheduling.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "acuity-scheduling": {      "url": "https://acuity-scheduling.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Acuity Scheduling credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/acuity-scheduling/

On first connect you'll provide your Acuity User ID and API Key (Acuity → Integrations → API). They're validated, stored per-user, and scoped to you — no keys in config files.

acuity_list_appointments

List appointments

List appointments scheduled on the account. For bulk contact/parent lists, use view: contacts to return only id, firstName, lastName, email, phone and datetime, without forms/formsText. Contacts view or an explicit offset returns {appointments, pagination}; follow pagination.nextOffset with identical filters until null. Pages fit below the tool output cap and can contain fewer than max rows. Offsets are connector-managed by fetching a prefix (Acuity has no documented native offset); at 10,000 appointments per filter/date window, narrow minDate/maxDate and restart at 0. Appointments may change between calls; deduplicate by id. Default full view without offset preserves the original array response. Acuity REST: GET /appointments.
