Helpcrunch
io.usefulapiv1.0.0Updated Sep 29, 2026
Manage HelpCrunch chats, customers, agents and knowledge-base articles.
Overview
A hosted MCP endpoint that lets an assistant read and manage HelpCrunch chats, customers, agents, departments and knowledge-base articles.
- What it does
- Connects an assistant to a HelpCrunch account through a remote MCP endpoint. Read tools list and fetch customers, chats, chat messages, agents, departments, applications and the organization. Write tools create messages, update chat status and assign chats. Credentials are entered on first connect and stored per user rather than in config files.
- When to use it
- Useful when support or success teams want an assistant to look up customer and conversation context, or to send replies, change chat status and reassign chats without leaving the chat client. Less useful if you only need occasional manual HelpCrunch access.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint at no local install or package. A HelpCrunch account with credentials, pasted on first connect. Network access to the hosted endpoint. A paid plan is needed beyond the free tier's 100 tool calls per month.
Installation
In SourceWeft

- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
