Onfido
io.usefulapiv1.0.0Updated Sep 29, 2026
Create and read Onfido applicants, documents, checks and reports.
Overview
Lets an assistant read and create Onfido identity-verification records such as applicants, documents, checks, and reports.
- What it does
- This hosted MCP server exposes Onfido's identity-verification data to an assistant. Read tools list and fetch applicants, documents, checks, reports, workflow runs, live photos, and live videos. Two write tools create and update applicants. It runs as a remote endpoint, so there is nothing to install locally.
- When to use it
- Use it when you work with Onfido identity verification and want an assistant to look up applicant, document, check, or report details without leaving the chat. It also helps when creating or updating applicant records as part of a verification workflow.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP client pointed at the hosted endpoint. On first connect you paste your Onfido credentials, which are validated and stored per user. Network access to the hosted service is required. No local runtime or package install is needed.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Onfido in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
