Rev.ai MCP by usefulapi
io.usefulapiv1.0.0Updated Oct 10, 2026
Transcribe audio with Rev.ai: submit jobs by URL, read transcripts, summaries and captions.
Overview
Lets an assistant submit Rev.ai speech-to-text jobs and read transcripts, summaries, and captions.
- What it does
- A hosted MCP server that wraps Rev.ai speech-to-text. It exposes read tools for account and balance, job listing and status, transcripts, summaries, and captions, plus write tools to submit and delete transcription jobs. Meta tools report usage, request features, and manage a Pro subscription.
- When to use it
- Use it when an assistant needs to transcribe audio supplied by URL and work with the resulting text, summaries, or captions without leaving the chat. It suits occasional transcription and captioning tasks rather than bulk media processing.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint; no local install. Connect with the server URL only, then sign in through OAuth with your own Rev.ai credentials. No API key or Authorization header is added to the client config.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Rev.ai MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
